Client Self-Care
I can take the problem apart. But you have to stop putting it back together.
I get one hour. You get the other 167.
Many problems develop through repeated habits of sitting, lifting, walking, working, and recovering. Bodywork may improve comfort and movement, but returning immediately to the same aggravating patterns can undermine progress.
What you do between appointments matters as much as what happens on the table.

Your habits are part of treatment
Regular movement, suitable exercises, walking mechanics, posture, adequate nutrition, hydration, sleep, and rest all influence recovery. Small consistent changes usually matter more than occasional heroic efforts.
Two steps forward, one step back
Even dedicated clients have setbacks. A hard workday, poor sleep, or an old habit may temporarily aggravate symptoms. That does not necessarily erase progress; the overall direction matters.
Progress is not always a straight line.
Do not confuse feeling better with being finished
Relief is an opportunity to reinforce healthier habits—not a license to resume everything that caused trouble. The right exercises and activity levels depend on the condition; more is not always better.
We are working on the same team
My role is to observe, treat, educate, and recognize when other care is needed. Your role is to participate in recovery where your choices can make a difference. Not every setback is preventable or anyone’s fault.
I can help you get moving in the right direction. You keep walking after you leave.
